From Atlanta to Gainesville via I-85Take I-85 north from Atlanta to exit 113 (I-985) to Gainesville. Once on I-985, proceed for 22 miles and take exit 22. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left (west) onto Hwy. 129 toward Gainesville. Continue straight on Hwy. 129 as it becomes Hwy. 129 Business Route. Proceed through the downtown area of Gainesville and the old historic homes section (Green Street). At the end of the historic homes section, the road forks. Take the right fork at the Civic Center and stay on Hwy. 129-Business toward Cleveland. After the fork, take the second left onto Riverside Drive (do not take the first left onto Riverside Terrace). There is a sign for Riverside Military Academy. Riverside is one mile ahead on Riverside Drive. From Atlanta to Gainesville via Ga Hwy. 400 Head North on GA Hwy. 400. At first traffic light intersection, turn right onto Hwy. 369 to Gainesville. Follow Hwy. 369 east to Gainesville (about 17 miles). Continue to the intersection of Hwy. 369 (Jesse Jewell Pkwy.) and Hwy. 129-Business Route (E.E. Butler Pkwy.). There will be two seven-story office buildings on the far corners and Holiday Inn on right corner. Turn left onto Hwy. 129-Business. Proceed through the downtown area of Gainesville and the old historic homes section (Green Street). At the end of the historic homes section, the road forks. Take the right fork at the Civic Center and stay on Hwy. 129-Business toward Cleveland. After the fork, take the second left onto Riverside Drive (do not take the first left onto Riverside Terrace).
